Our story

Christy and Ethan met through a shared curiosity about how technology could better serve patients and care teams. Christy’s years volunteering in hospitals and long-term care homes gave her a close-up view of the daily challenges nurses and patients face. Ethan’s connection to the nursing profession through family shaped his early understanding of the demands of frontline care. With hands-on experience in health tech and a deep respect for the people behind the profession, they teamed up to reimagine how patients communicate their needs.

That collaboration became PatientCompanion, a practical, patient-focused solution built from the ground up with empathy, engineering, and real-world insight.
